Although the largest supermarket in Hong Kong has created a convenient shopping environment to the society, they have been trying to attract customers to buy “discounted” goods without any consideration. “Discount” sounds wonderful; however, the price of the products is changing everyday. This gimmick is just a trick! As a result, the social value has distorted under the supermarket’s control. “Price on Price” is a social campaign without any commercial client. This campaign provides both visual and physical experience design items to stimulate people’s mind. It inspires people to re-think the real value of those faked price items, and encourages them to make their own judgment, and mark their own values on these items to avoid any non-sense purchase actions. Now, the prices are not controlled by the supermarket anymore.
即使各大超級市場經已為香港社會建立了一個良好的購物環境,但仍然會不經考慮地以減價這手段來吸引顧客。減價看來是一件好事,但價格每日在變動。這種花招只是一個騙局!最後社會價值被超級市場而控制。
“PRICE ON PRICE”是一個沒有商業客戶的社會運動。在這個運動中提供設計中的視覺和實際經驗來刺激人們思維,讓人重新考量虛假物品價格的真正價值,鼓勵大家需要有自己的判斷,為該物品提供價格,避免任何無原因的行為,讓超級市場不再控制價格!
