This campaign raises public awareness about the sound pollution from mobile phone usage.

When people speak loudly to their mobile phones, their voice will gradually accumulate as a noise. You can hear noise coming from everywhere in a crowded area. It is surprisingly abnormal that we always live with these noises. Even though there are many noisy street in Hong Kong, we still tolerate others talking loudly about things that are irrelevant to us. MOBILE NOISE TOUR encourages people to pay attention to the voice volume when chatting. It helps them to think about the negative impacts of mobile phone usage. When the talking volume is reduced, it could protect our privacy and benefit to people around us.

The square shape in logo represents the chatting information by using a mobile phone. Irregular pattern of the used font expresses noise when we talk. The series of posters are the communication map in noisy areas. They show the noise connections between people relationship and places. The slogan ‘YOU ARE HERE’ is using to attract people curiosity about the question of “why ‘YOU’ standing in the noise area?”

這作品的出現，是為了提醒公眾對有關於手提電話噪音污染的關注。

使用手提電話時所發出的聲浪累積起來便會形成噪音。你可以在鬧市中聽到由四方八面而來的噪音，令人驚訝的是我們就是經常性地身處其中。即使在香港已經充斥著滿佈噪音的街道，我們仍然會有人在你身邊高聲談論一些和你無關的事。MOBILE NOISE TOUR鼓勵大家多留意自己交談時的聲量，讓大家思索使用手提電話所帶來的負面影響。當我們減少談話時的聲浪，除了讓我們的私隱得到保障，對身邊的人也有益處。

設計中的正方圖案代表了使用手提電話時的聊天內容。字體中的不規則圖案表達了聊天時的噪音。一系列的海報設計正是在噪音環境中的溝通地圖。當中表達出人際關係和地點之間的噪音聯繫(如情侶在戲院中用手提電話談情)。海報中的口號“YOU ARE HERE”可以令人反思自己為何要身處於噪音當中。
