Little girls and some women are addicted to play some kinds of fashion dolls. These dolls have a wonderful outlook, and they are the ideal images for people. When playing with fashion dolls, people can change their clothes, shoes and accessories etc… Some of the players will imagine that the dolls are themselves, and they cannot stop themselves from pretending to live as a fashion doll in their real life. Furthermore, the internet has pushed the phenomenon of fashion dolls ahead, and many Blog Idols have emerged in the cyber world. As being a Blog Idol, people are not only dressing like fashion dolls, but they also have exaggerated makeup and created their own characters and lifestyles. In the cyber world, people post their pictures, words, sounds and even videos to share their Bolg Idols’ lives with others. In other words, they can influence each other. Gradually, people will lose their unique identity, and look for a fake character when they have become addicted to be a Blog Idol.
I have designed a series of blog idol dolls’ packaging to enable people to understand the phenomenon of Blog Idol. You can recreate yourself by following the three types of Blog Idols. These three types are make-up idol, fashion idol and lifestyle idol.
年輕的少女和女士們都沉迷於某類洋娃娃玩具。這一類有著完美外表的洋娃娃成為了一些人心目中的理想形象。透過替洋娃娃打扮、換衣裳,就有如把洋娃娃想像為自己本人一樣,並幻想自己就是這個洋娃娃,活在現實世界當中。這種觀念被推至網絡世界中,使博客偶像出現於這個虛擬的世界中。要成為一位博客偶像,除了有如洋娃娃一樣愛打扮,更需要誇大其外表、個性及生活。她們需要在這個網絡世界中上載個人照片、文字、聲音,甚至錄像。他們向其他人分享博客偶像的生活的同時,又與其他博客偶像互相地影響著。過份沉迷於博客偶像,讓她們漸漸地失去個人獨特性,追求著一種虛偽的人格。
透過一系列博客偶像洋娃娃玩具的包裝設計,可讓人了解博客偶像現象。從化妝偶像、時裝偶像和生活偶像三個不同的設計中,你可以嘗試建立自己的博客偶像。
