In this few years, a big reverberation from the public was created by many artists who have performed in the pedestrian area in Sai Yeung Choi Street South in Mongkok. This issue has been influencing people of Hong Kong to pay more attention to the use of the public space and the definition of ‘Art’.

In this project, different messages of ‘Art’ will be introduced to the public in the pedestrian area. It is essential to encourage creative input to regenerate Hong Kong. Modern society undoubtedly needs creativity and vision of the importance of art. In additional, ‘Art Makes Public’ would also document how the public will react on art activities in Sai Yeung Choi Street. Let people think about their relationship between art and themselves in public area, and public criticize what form of ‘Art’ they really needed.

近年來，不少藝術家或藝術團體於旺角西洋菜南街行人專用區進行街頭藝術表演，並引起了許多回響。因為這個現象，公眾開始對公共空間的使用和藝術的定義有所關注。

在這個作品中，將會透過視覺向公眾傳遞各個不同的藝術信息。革新改變香港，創意是必須的。無可否認的是現代社會是需要創新意念和藝術文化視野。這個作品當中還紀錄了在西洋菜南街，公眾和西洋菜南街中藝術活動之間的互動性，讓大家思考在公共空間中，自己和藝術之間的關係，並判斷到底什麼形式的藝術活動才是自己需要的。
